Morning Glow by Suzy Strout

Early morning in central Australia, the light, the wide open sky and the colours have stayed imprinted on my mind. I sketched on site with inks and oil pastels, then completed this piece, using acrylic in the studio, to capture the ‘staccato’ effect of the sunlit spinifex on the hillsides against the colours of the rocks and soil. Enjoy!
