In a good cause

Dropping off a few paintings today, to Breakfast Point Rotary Club Exhibition. Funds raised benefit the Haemotology Research Unit at Concord Hospital. Some Art & Craft for everyone. 3 days only!!

West Kimberley Hill – a work in progress

I loved the immediacy of the travel sketches I did whilst travelling in the Kimberley, so wanted to translate some of that to a larger format. Still working with acrylic inks and some acrylic paint on 300gsm watercolour paper. Love those big skies!

Came across pictures from my first exhibition. What fun it was! So now that I have time to be working towards a new exhibition, I’m still exploring a variety of styles with Acrylic paints & inks. Using the inks has taught me to be able to put a painting aside to wait for a layer …
