Flowers from Ben by Suzy Strout
We visited friends for lunch and the vibrancy of the hydrangeas & roses among the items ready for our feast caught my eye and inspired this painting. The cheeses and grapes were not only gorgeous shapes to paint, but the perfect finish to our meal.
I loved painting this with oils and aimed to keep a freshness and looseness to the strokes in keeping with the fun of the day.
